Tokyo Fun!

A couple of months ago I accompanied Jennifer Hudson to Tokyo for the second time around and although I didn't have much free time...I made the most of it! I ventured out to Shibuya and hit up the drug stores in the area to see what I could find. Now I couldn't leave Tokyo without purchasing a few beauty items. I picked up some sponges in varies shapes, blotting tissues etc. Here's a couple of shots...

Jennifer Hudson At The 2nd Annual AmFAR Inspiration Gala

Jennifer looked and sounded amazing at the 2nd Annual AmFAR Inspiration Gala which was held at the Museum of Modern Art. I gave her an exaggerated smokey eye by using burgundy & black eyeshadows for depth and added some lashes for additional drama. I gave her a fresh, flawless face by softly highlighting & contouring to really bring out her features. I added a lavender lipstick and topped it off with a light pink gloss in the center. Loved her overall look of the day!

Breakfast In Barbados

I traveled to Barbados with Jennifer Hudson for CHUM FM (Toronto) "Breakfast In Barbados Concert", and boy did we have a ball. Glam really pulled together to come up with Caribbean inspired looks to make sure JHUD was "supermodel" ready. Each day was filled with press, radio & TV interviews with the grand finale being a concert. Jenn performed, Maroon 5, Suzie McNeil and "David Otunga Jr" lol. Lil David surprised Mom and came out on stage with his microphone and joined in as she belted out songs from her new CD, "I Remember Me"..and the crowd roared! ESSENCE Magazine Covers

When I received word that I would be working with Jennifer Hudson for the cover of ESSENCE Magazine, I was super excited as this is my 4Th cover and 3rd with Jennifer. The first time I did the cover it was with Jennifer and she and publicist made me believe it was for the inside of the magazine only to surprise me with the cover news! I cried with excitement because I always dreamed of doing makeup for their cover. This was truly a dream come true. Every photoshoot has been a blast full of music, great energy and good food. Essence Honoree- Jennifer Hudson

Here's a look I did for Jennifer Hudson for the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. She was recognized along with some other incredible women such as Viola Davis, Angela Bassett and Loretta Devine. She had a gorgeous purple dress, soft flowing hair so I gave her soft smokey eyes, fluttery eyelashes & a nude lip to compliment her overall look. Lil David escorted his Mommy down the red carpet...so cute!

Jennifer Hudson Christens Disney's "The Dream" Cruise Ship

What fun it was to accompany Jennifer Hudson as she participated in the Christening Ceremony for Disney's newest ship, The Dream. Jennifer was named the official Godmother of the ship. She was so excited to be apart of this incredible day as she has a deep love for Disney. She was once apart of the Disney boat cast years ago before her American Idol days.
