Ask Tia Tuesday
Today's question is from, Sunshiyne. Sunshiyne, asks:
What can I use on my skin for a pimple? I have tons on breakouts!
Random breakouts can happen to us all. I do have some suggestions that I hope will aid you in treating your pimples and hopefully preventing them in the future. My first suggestion is to maintain a daily skincare regimen to keep your skin cleansed, thus fewer breakouts. Breakouts can happen for a number of reasons so we have to pay attention to the seasons, monthly cycles, and the foods that we intake as well as the lack of H2O. There are specialized cleansers and creams with salicylic acid, glycolic acid and benzyl peroxide to help dry out your pimples. As with anything, consistency is a key factor in improving your skin. At night, make sure to remove all traces of oils, makeup and daily impurities to avoid bacteria buildup and future breakouts. The worst thing you can do for your skin is neglect removing your makeup at night. A great tip I can share with you is to buy some makeup remover wipes and store them in your bedside table for nights that you just can't make it out of the bed. :-)
