Ask Tia Tuesday

Today’s Ask Tia Tuesday Question is from Iris. Iris asks:

Whenever I'm doing a makeover or makeup for my portfolio, I am always struggling to get that illuminating highlight using concealer in the under eye area. For instance, some celebrities that carry this look are, Beyonce and Lady Gaga in the Telephone video or Kim Kardashian.

Are their artists using two concealers? One natural and a dramatic lighter concealer on top?

Here's some advice on achieving the highlighted look under the eye area. I would first recommend using a eyecream or moisturizer to allow for a flawless and smooth application. Next, you can get the same results by using a concealer one to two shades lighter than your skin tone for the dramatic look. There's also products like MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream that you can mix with your concealer to give you a dewey look as well. To finish off this look lightly dust a setting powder under the eye area by using a soft, fluffy brush to help control the oil and keep your makeup fresh and long-lasting. Thanks for your question, Iris!
