My last perm was July 1st 2009, and I haven't looked back since. I've wanted to go natural for so many years, and one time I actually went 5 months without a perm only to let a "new" hair stylist talk me into getting a perm again. Disappointed in myself for falling for the "perm pressure", I vowed...one of these days. This journey has brought a lot of emotions to the surface as I feel my way through on the path of the unknown. I'm still experimenting with products and small spurts of hair creativity. Youtube has been the "hair lifesaver" that I needed to continue on. Youtuber’s like Rustic Beauty, Kimmaytube, Glamazini, Naptural85 and AfricanExport have both educated and inspired me to keep hope alive!
