Hi Tia! Love your blog, esp. Ask Tia Tuesday! On average how long does it take you to do looks on new clients? (I'm sure you have JHud down to a science!)
During photoshoots, teams seem to need makeup to be done between 30-45 mins. I currently clock 45mins- 1hr. Any tips on how to speed up? (Talking while I work is not an issue, lol)
Hi Kia!!! Thanks so much for the compliment! I love the saying, "don't despise small beginnings" because my past has truly help shape my present and future. I started off doing makeup for fashion shows which helped tremendously with my speed. Usually I work in a fast pace environment so working quickly is definitely an asset. It helps to think through the steps as you are doing makeup and also having all the product you will need laid out and within reach.

Great advice. Thinking through the steps definitely does help.
I think this is a great topic because I am usually at the 45-1hr mark and would like to get to 30mins and under. Will definitely market myself to some fashion shows to help increase speed. Thanks for the tip!!
